The Foundation work hard to ensure our coaches have the skills needed to deliver high quality activities that allow all participants to learn the game in a fun and safe environment.
If your son or daughter takes part in any of our activities they will hopefully know our coaches very well.
Peri has a vast involvement in coaching both football and futsal in the UK and Cyprus. His involvement in coaching futsal began in 2010, where he was Assistant Coach for Ararat Futsal Club, reaching the Elite round of the UEFA Futsal Cup. He went on to become Head Coach of Manchester Futsal Club. Here he helped win the clubs first ever trophy, the FA Futsal Cup, and also reached the National Playoffs.
Peri went on to assist AC Omonia Nicosia Futsal with their main round campaign in the UEFA Futsal Cup, before moving to Cardiff and becoming Head Coach of Cardiff City FC Futsal. It was here that Peri helped them win the FAW Futsal Cup, Cardiff’s first trophy, taking them to the UEFA Futsal Cup Preliminary Round. He was also appointed Assistant Coach of the Welsh National Futsal team who took part in the UEFA European Championship, and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Peri has also had vast involvement in the elite 11 a-side game, being involved with performance analysis with the likes of Anorthosis Famagusta FC, AEL Limassol, Cyprus National Team Men’s, U21’s and U19’s. He has also been an Academy Coach for the Arsenal Academy based in Cyprus. He is also Technical Director of Future Elite Sports.
Peri delivers a number of the Foundations projects including but not limited to, the Micro Academy, Primary School Futsal and our Under 11 / Under 12 Development Pods.
Neil has been coaching for a number of years now, specifically concentrating on grassroots football. This has involved working with the SFA and West Lothian Council in running and managing a number of different sessions which are held in sports centres and schools throughout the county.
In the last year Neil has been heavily involved in the street football and midnight league initiatives which are organised games of 5 a-sides to help maintain teenagers involvement in the game and reduce antisocial behaviour.
You might also see Neil at the side of the pitch on a Saturday / Sunday morning where he coaches an Under 11 team for Broxburn Athletic.
Neil delivers a number of the Foundations programmes including our Primary School Futsal, Micro Academy, Saturday Soccer School and the Over 35’s.
Andrew has been coaching for over 5 years and within that time has gained an HND in Sports Coaching with Sports Development and a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (Sports Coaching). Andrew has been heavily involved in coaching for the SFA and West Lothian Council in local primary schools and out in the community.
Andrew has experience in coaching boys and girls from the ages of 3 all the way up to 18. This has covered both recreational and elite performers.
Andrew combines his role with the Foundation as a Sports Development Assistant within West Lothian Council’s Sports Development Team. This involves Andrew being responsible for diversionary activities including Street Football and Bank of Scotland Midnight Leagues.
Andrew currently delivers a number of the Foundations activities including Primary School Futsal, Micro Academy and Boys Club Coaching.
